CLINTON, N.Y. (WKTV) -- Each year, WKTV heads to a different school for their festive Halloween parade. On Thursday, we went to the halls of Clinton Elementary School.
Students showed off their costumes and parents came to watch their kids parade through the school.
The creative costumes included minions from the movie Despicable Me, Woody from Toy Story, a princess, a witch and much, much more. The kids all looked great!
The principal said the day is filled with fun, but learning too. This year they had the theme of Math-O-Leen.
"We're combining mathematics with Halloween and giving different math challenges to the kids and different games and prizes and this way there's a theme so as you see everyone coming down the hallway you'll see even the teachers dressed in a theme," said Steve Marcus, principal of Clinton Elementary School.
The parade was mostly Kindergarten through third grade and the older kids held parties and festivities.
