Kirkland police seek help in identifying theft suspect

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Kirkland police are asking the public's help in identifying a possible suspect in the theft of a utility trailer in Clinton.

According to authorities, the trailer was stolen around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday from the front of Clinton Agway. The trailer is black and rusty, with a wooden stack rack and a wire mesh gate that's held up by a single angle bar.

Authorities say surveillance shows a dark pickup with a red cab pulling into the Agway parking and a white man with a light-colored baseball cap, long light-colored shirt and dark pants get out and go to the Nuway utility trailer. He then hooked the trailer to his truck and drive north onto Kirkland Avenue. The trailer did not have a license plate at the time of the theft and the lights don't work.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Kirkland Police Department at 853-2924.
