UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Landmarks Society of Greater Utica held it's 38th annual Meeting and Awards Banquet Thursday night.
Community leaders, restaurant and business owners filled Hotel Utica for a night of networking, dinner and awards.
New this year, the Landmarks gave out Centennial awards to businesses celebrating 100 years in the community.
They were given to Hotel Utica, Chanatry's Market, and H.R. Beebe.
Preservation awards were given to The Tailor & The Cook, Oneida County Public Market, the Adirondack Distillery, the Children's Museum and Hage & Hage, LLC.
"These are other businesses that have renovated their establishments in older buildings rather than tear them down so we give great accolades to that," said Incoming President of the Landmark's Society Paul Hage.
