Last chance for voter registration

By WKTV News

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKTV) - The deadline to register to vote in this year's general election is Saturday, October 13, 2012.

Governor Andrew Cuomo has declared Saturday a Voter Registration Drive and voters can head to the Oneida County Board of Elections all day to register.

Republican Election Commissioner Pamela Mandryck says presidential election years are by far, the busiest.

"In September for example we had over 13,000 voter registration applications come in," she said. "That's huge. We have voter registration all over the office I mean everybody's just plowing through as fast as we can to get everybody eligible to vote"

You can head to Union Station from 9 am until 9 pm.
