Local Rite Aid employee held up at gunpoint; $5,000 reward

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police say a drug store employee was held up at gunpoint Wednesday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m.

Police say a suspect entered the Rite Aid at 1924 Genesee Street.

A male believed to be African American and approximately 6’0” tall, muscular build, light colored jacket with designs all over and light colored pants, wearing a dark colored mask and gloves, displayed a handgun and threatened the clerk, according to police.

The suspect stole an undisclosed amount of money. Rite Aid is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in this case.
