Local company lands major job


ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - A local company has been commissioned for a job that carries a tremendous amount of weight and international recognition.

"Mid-Air" in Rome has been chosen by Trans-Aero Airlines to produce a paint scheme for it big Boeing 747 Jet.

The Mohawk Valley company painted the plane right here in Central New York, in its hanger at Griffiss International Airport.

Trans-Aero, just flew a charity "Flight of Hope" from Moscow to Miami, and back, in order to help raise funds children suffering from life-threatening hear, brain, and spine diseases through the Life-Line Charity Fund.
