UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - One local organization gave holiday spirit to six families affected by cancer, Saturday.

The Montgomery Experience, a non-profit organization serving people impacted with illness, welcomed the families to Raspberry's restaurant for a meet-and-greet breakfast with Santa.

In addition to meeting Santa, 13 children also received Christmas gifts, given by the Montgomery Experience, to make their holidays a little easier.

"We serve families of children who have cancer, because it's an overwhelming experience for the families," said Montgomery Experience elf, Roxanne Baumister.

The gifts given to the children were donated by people within the community, area businesses, and volunteers of the organization.
