Locals travel back in time for antique show

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - Locals had the chance to take a step back in time at an antique power show, Sunday, at the Fireman's Field on Route 12B/26 in Oriskany Falls.

The Show featured antique engines, tractors cars and trucks that were on display at the Power of the Past Flea Market.

There was a live antique garden, tractor pull and working exhibit.

Mohawk Valley Power of the Past is an organization who puts on this event year in and year out.

"It's just enjoying the hobby, it's like many clubs whether its tractors or engines or whatever, they talk about their equipment, show it off in a parade," said Carole Gerkin of the MVPP. "Many of us also participate in the State Fair."

The event continues, Monday, with a pancake breakfast at 7 a.m., with a kiddie peddle and tractor pull at noon.

A chicken barbeque will also be held for those in attendance.
