Lowville woman arrested after heroin found at traffic stop

(WKTV) - A Lowville, N.Y., woman was arrested Wednesday on drug charges after a traffic stop.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Amy S. Brodt, 30, was stopped by authorities on South State Street. After a search by a K9 unit, a quantity of heroin was found.

Brodt was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh degree. She will appear in Lowville Village Court at a later date. New York State police assisted in the investigation.
