Madison Bouckville Antique show in full swing

By MEGAN KOSKOVICH

BOUCKVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The grounds of the Madison Bouckville Antique Festival are packed with vendors from across the country. It's hard to believe that just a year ago, the future of this popular event was on shaky grounds.

The Antique Festival is in the 40th year and people come by the thousands each year to look for some rare finds. But last year, there were worries that the festival wouldn't happen because the owner of the land off Route 20 sold it. The new owner, of White Eagle farms, said he would allot the land for the festival if someone stepped in to manage it.

"The Results Group" out of Syracuse agreed to manage the festival and has been working to make it bigger and better. Some new features this year include free admission after 10 a.m. and new vendors from 25 states and Canada. The festival runs until Sunday.
