Madison County meth lab shut down, suspect in custody
MUNNSVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Madison County Sheriff's Department announced the shutting down of a meth lab, and the arrest of a suspect Wednesday.
At about 8:10 p.m., Tuesday, Madison County Sheriff's deputies responded to a tip of a possible methamphetamine lab at a residence on East Hill Road in Munnsville.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they confirmed that a meth lab was in operation, and arrested Scott E. Lohr, 47, after he appeared at the residence during the investigation.
Following questioning, Lohr, was arrested and charged with one count of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a Class D Felony.
He was arraigned in the Town of Stockbridge Court and was remanded to the Madison County Jail on $1,000cash/$5,000 bond.
He is due back in court on Oct. 10 to answer the charge.
Lohr is also facing additional charges pending the completed investigation. He is currently being held at the Madison County Jail.
