Male victim in stable condition after shooting, but not cooperating

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Utica Police responded to a shooting Saturday night at 10:15 in the 1500 block of West Street.

When officers got on the scene, they say a residence was shot up. They found casings from a large caliber weapon.

Our crews on the scene say there were more than a dozen casings.

Police say a male victim turned up at a local hospital with several gunshot wounds. That victim is listed in critical condition.

He was driven to the hospital in a private vehicle.

The investigation is on-going.

Police do not have a suspect in custody.
