WATSON, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Lewis County man has been charged with harassment and forcible touching following an incident in a vehicle in the Town of Watson, authorities said.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office, Shay B. Widrick, 23, of Croghan, was charged with second-degree harassment and forcible touching. Authorities say the charges stem from a domestic incident that took place in the Town of Watson where Widrick allegedly took a female for a ride and touched her genital area. When the female attempted to get out of Widrick's vehicle, Widrick grabbed her by the arm, causing minor bruising.

Widrick was issued appearance tickets returnable in the Town of Watson Court at a later date.
