Man accused of forging signature to take money out of someone else's bank account

NORWICH, N.Y. (WKTV) - A man has been charged in Chenango County after authorities say he forged a withdrawal slip at a bank to take money out of someone else's account.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Dustin J. Norris, 29, of the Town of Smyrna has been charged with second-degree petit larceny.

Authorities say that on September 10, Norris forged the victims name to a withdrawal slip at a local bank and received money out of the victim's savings account. He was arraigned in the Town of North Norwich Court and released until a later court date in the Town of Norwich.
