Man accused of selling heroin in Oneonta

(WKTV) - A Davenport man faces charges after he allegedly was selling heroin in the City of Oneonta.

Cody Leslie Carter Barnes, 28, is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.

According to authorities, during an ongoing heroin drug trafficking investigation, heroin was allegedly purchased from Barnes on two occasions in Oneonta. Barnes was recently indicted by a grand jury. Barnes had been in custody at the Otsego County Correctional Facility since Jan. 31 on a drug arrest.

Barnes faces up to 24 years in prison if convicted. He continues to be held at the jail on an additional $20,000 bail.
