Man accused of sexual assault in Town of Vienna

VIENNA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A 40 year old man has been charged in connection to a sexual assault in the Town of Vienna.

According to Chief Dean Obernesser of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Jason S. Olar, 40 was arrested on Friday, March 15 and charged with second-degree rape.

Authorities say the charges stem from an alleged sexual assault in the Town of Vienna in February 2013.

Olar was arraigned in New York Mills Court and sent to the Oneida County Correctional Facility in lieu of $20,000 bond.

The victim has been offered counseling services through the Child Advocacy Center.
