Man arrested after causing disturbance in Lowville

LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV)-Authorities say one man is in jail after harassing police and causing a disturbance in Lowville.

Lewis County Sheriff's Deputies say Shaun Elliott, 28, was yelling and swearing in his girlfriend's house.

When officials arrived Elliot wouldn't calm down after authorities warned him several times.

While he was being arrested Elliott continued to yell and swear then eventually kicked an officer. He has since been released from jail and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
