Barneveld man killed in car accident, driver charged with drunk driving

TRENTON, N.Y. (WKTV)
- A Barneveld man has died following a serious accident at the intersection of Route 365 and Prospect Depot Road Saturday afternoon, according to New York State Police.
State Troopers say that 61-year-old Roy Baker was hit by a drunk driver and killed. The man now under arrest and charged with DWI is 45-year-old Bertram Worden.
Baker was attempting a left-hand turn, according to police, when Worden's pick-up truck hit Baker's car.
Baker was pronounced dead at the scene by Oneida County Coroner Gregory Mills.
A investigation by New York State Police is continuing.
