Man pleads guilty to assault in connection with shooting

(WKTV) - It was a bar fight that started with the exchange of heated words and ended with the firing of a handgun.

On July 2, Kilroy Brown shot Reginald Cromwell at Two J's Bar in East Utica. On Monday, Brown pleaded guilty to first-degree assault. He was originally charged with attempted murder.

Brown will be sentenced in Oneida County Court on April 14.
