TABERG, N.Y. (WKTV) - Wild waters overnight prompted a water rescue from a creek in Taberg a little after 1 a.m.

Our crews were on the scene as forest rangers, assisted by State Police, and the Sylvan Beach Water Rescue Unit pulled a male victim from rushing water.

We're told the man's girlfriend called 9-1-1 when he fell in somewhere under the Palmer Road bridge.

Once pulled from the water, our crews on the scene said, the victim refused to be transported for further medical treatment.

No word yet on his name, or the details surrounding the incident.
