Man suspected in Oneonta robberies arrested

(WKTV) - New York State Police have arrested a man who is suspected in two robberies in the town of Oneonta.

Johnathan R. Lynn, 23, of East Meredith, is charged with attempted robbery in the third degree, criminally possessing a hypodermic instrument and two counts of robbery in the second degree.

According to authorities, troopers responded to an attempted robbery Saturday at Otsego Auto Crushers in the Town of Davenport.

A further investigation shows Lynn was suspected in the April 19 robbery of the Convenience Express and the Thursday robbery at Arby's, both in the Town of Oneonta.

Lynn was sent to the Delaware County Jail. Cash bail was set at $15,000.

New York State Police were assisted by the Otsego and Delaware County Sheriff's Departments, the Oneonta Police Department and the New York State Division of parole.
