Man tasered, teen arrested after burglary and dispute in Trenton

TRENTON, N.Y.(WKTV) - A man and a teen both face charges after an alleged attempted burglary and domestic dispute at a home in Trenton that took both State Police and Sheriff's Deputies to get under control.

Authorities were investigating a call for an attempted burglary at 10601 Hulser Road late Thursday night when they found Scott Goodson, 41, in the home with his hands bleeding.

It happened around 11:55pm.

Police say Goodson broke a window in the home of his six-month-old child's mother.

Goodson refused to respond with verbal commands to be taken into custody and threatened the officers with physical harm.

Goodman had to be tasered and then put in a leg shackle to be taken into custody.

He continued to fight with authorities outside the home, refusing to be seated in the patrol car.

Goodman is charged with Criminal Contempt, Aggravated Criminal Contempt, Criminal Mischief, and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. He was also found to be in violation of an order of protection.

He's in Oneida County Jail with no bail.

Also during the arrest, a 17-year-old-female in the residence was arrested for attempting to keep authorities from arresting Goodson.She is charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration, and Resisting Arrest.

She was issued an appearance ticket for the Town of Trenton Court.
