LEE, N.Y. (WKTV) - An Amsterdam man is in jail after he threatened to blow up the Nice 'N Easy store on Route 26 Friday.
State Police say that Ronald Capron walked into the store around 4:00 and told an employee he had a bomb inside of his truck parked in the store parking lot. Police investigated and found that Capron was drunk when he made the threats and there was no bomb.
Capron's blood alcohol level was 0.18%. He is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, and falsely reporting an incident. He is being held in the Oneida County Jail.
