Man wanted for Utica robbery and shooting found on Long Island
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man Utica Police have been on the lookout for since February has been located in Long Island. According to Utica Police, 20-year-old Leroy Delaney, of Steuben Street in Utica, was located by U.S. Marshalls and taken into custody following a robbery in February. In February, an unidentified man was robbed and shot in the leg at a residence in the 1500 block of Dudley Avenue in Cornhill. Two suspects fled after stealing money and other property, one of the men being Delaney. The other man, 20-year-old Donovan Davis, was arrested in March. Delaney is charged with robbery, possession of a weapon and a misdemeanor. He was transferred back to the Utica Police Department for arraignment.
