Marcy man faces felony after allegedly trying to injure woman

(WKTV) - A Marcy man is accused of attempting to physically injure a woman who has an order of protection against him, New York State Police said.

Michael L. Debellis, 46, of Marcy, is charged with felony criminal contempt in the first degree and a misdemeanor count of attempted assault in the third degree.

According to officials, Debellis was involved in an argument with a woman who had placed an order of protection against him. During the argument, Debellis allegedly tried to physically hurt the woman.

Debellis was sent to Oneida County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
