Masonic Care Community resident celebrates 100th birthday

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A very Happy Birthday to Teresa Lucas on Tuesday, a resident of the Masonic Care Community who is celebrating a century.

While the birthdays normally are a time for others to sing to the birthday recipient, Teresa, as a member of Masonic's Silvertones Choir, had no problem singing in a performance on Tuesday.

"I never did anything different, i just lived my life," said Teresa on the secret to such a long life. "And it seems everything that I did, turned out pretty good. I've done a lot of things in my life that make me happy. I'm not a bashful person. That's why, I get in there and I make the best of it."
