Masonic campus celebrates St. John's Day

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Masonic Care Community celebrated St. John's Day on Saturday.

Churches all over the world hold feasts on this day, celebrating the nativity of St. John the Baptist. He's described in the Gospel of Luke as a relative of Jesus who led a movement of baptism at the Jordan River.

In Utica, there were crafters, food and rides for the kids. It's a great way to learn about local products.

Jean Lewis, owner of Mean Dogs Mustard, said, "We came here as vendors to offer us our product to the community. We feel it's important to share our product locally and we're very proud of our product and this is a great place to be at the Masonic Care Community."
