Megan Koskovich bids farewell to NEWSChannel 2

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Megan Koskovich, co-anchor of NEWSChannel 2 at Daybreak and Sunrise, anchored her last newscast at WKTV on Friday morning.

Megan will leave Central New York to take a position at WMAR in Maryland, putting her closer to her family.

Megan joined WKTV in 2006 and has co-anchored the morning broadcast alongside Don Shipman since May of 2008.

Before anchoring NEWSChannel 2 at Daybreak and Sunrise, Megan anchored Weekend Today, was the overnight producer for Daybreak and Sunrise, as well as producer of the Live At Five Newshour.

She attended Syracuse University and graduated in 2006 with a degree in broadcast journalism and political science. While at SU, Megan reported for WAER, an NPR affiliate station. She did some reporting for a televised public affairs show called "Connect." Megan also interned at WMAR in Baltimore.

All of Megan's colleagues wish her well in Maryland and hope she will visit her self-declared second home, Central New York, frequently.
