Moe.down music festival moving back to Turin

TURIN, N.Y. (WKTV) - The very popular event called Moe.down is moving back to Turin.

According to the Central New York band called Moe's website,, the weekend-long music festival is moving back to Snow Ridge in Turin after being held at the Gelsten Castle Estate in Herkimer County the past two years.

This year's Moe.down will be held August 10th through the 12th.

The group says many members of the band went to Snow Ridge to ski when they were young and say that Snow Ridge just feels like home.

The three day event has become known for its laid back vibe and great music, as well as its intimate and scenic setting.

A limited number of 100 dollar early bird tickets go on sale Monday, March 5th, at noon.

Besides the band named Moe, which is scheduled to perform several times during the weekend, the rest of the lineup announcements are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
