Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council shares year one results

ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Mohawk Valley Regional Economic Development Council is now a year old. At this point, the organization is required to update the public on their progress through a series of public sessions.

Local business leaders and elected officials are part of the group.

The council was created by Governor Andrew Cuomo to redesign the relationship between state government and business and help create jobs.

Officials say cuomo is happy with the results of the council's first year.
