More gunfire heard near Calvary Cemetery

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - For the second time in less than 24 hours, law enforcement was called to the Calvary Cemetery in South Utica for a report of gunfire. Calvary Cemetery is located on Oneida Street.

Utica Police were called to the scene Wednesday evening, to do a search of the cemetery. It was a very similar situation to Tuesday night, when several shots were heard by people living in the area.

Police took several assault rifles into custody overnight Tuesday. Officials say someone shot and killed a deer. So far no suspects have been identified. We'll be updating as soon as more information comes in.
