Mother and baby son hospitalized with burns following Camden fire
CAMDEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - New York State Police confirm to NEWSChannel that a mother and her baby son were injured in a fire in Camden early Saturday morning.
Authorities say the blaze broke out inside the home at 9276 Route 13 outside of the village.
Two people, 35-year-old Jennifer Wagner and her nine-month-old son, J'von Odom, suffered second and third degree burns. The baby suffered injuries to the top of his head and hands. Both were transported to Upstate Medical Center but are expected to recover.
The home suffered severe damage from the blaze. No cause has yet been determined but the investigation is continuing.
