Mother of Craigslist victim wants answers

By WKTV News

BOSTON, MA.(WKTV) The mother of a victim of alleged Craigslist killer and VVS graduate Philip Markoff wants more answers in her daughter's death. She says she still hasn't seen evidence in the case even though Markoff killed himself six months ago.

Carmen Guzman tells The Boston Globe she is frustrated that
Suffolk District Attorney Daniel Conley has not released the case
file on Philip Markoff, the 24-year-old Boston University medical
student who was charged with killing Julissa Brisman in 2008.

Guzman and her lawyer say the file could provide information
that would help them pursue civil complaints against the hotel and
the New Hampshire gun shop prosecutors say sold Markoff the weapon he used.

A spokesman for Conley says the office expects to release the
case file soon.
