Multiple departments respond to large fire at McIntosh Box and Pallet

CLEVELAND, N.Y. (WKTV) - More than a dozen fire departments from four different counties responded Thursday afternoon to a large fire at McIntosh Box and Pallet on Route 49 in the Oswego County Village of Cleveland.

The fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. On Thursday afternoon, and as of this writing, there is no word on any injuries or what may have sparked the fire.

In business for more than 50 years, McIntosh Box & Pallet Co., Inc. has manufactured boxes, pallets, crates, and wood specialty products sold throughout the United States and Canada.

McIntosh states on their website that they have roughly 150 employees and more than 180,000 square feet of manufacturing space situated on 45 acres of land.
