NYC Shooting victim a graduate of SUNY Oneonta

ONEONTA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The victim in the deadly shooting that took place Friday morning in New York City has been identified as Steven Ercolino, a 1992 graduate of SUNY Oneonta.

SUNY Oneonta President Nancy Kleniewski issued the following statement: "We were saddened to learn that a member of our Oneonta alumni community was the victim of this tragic and senseless killing. Our thoughts and prayers are with Steve’s family," she said.

Ercolino is listed as Vice President of Sales for the Hazan Import Corp. He received his Business/Fashion degree from Oneonta.

Former employee Jeffrey Johnson, 53, has been identified as the gunman. Johnson was killed by police. Nine others were injured.
