Neptune Diner in Oneonta closes its doors

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The Neptune Diner in Oneonta served its last meal on Sunday.

The owners said they just couldn't put in the long hours anymore, but it was a hard decision to make. The Neptune has been in operation for three decades.

The diner is right on Route  23 on the south side of town. The restaurant is refunding gift certificates, so if you have one, you can stop in until 4 p.m. every day.

The owners will be there for the next few weeks.

In addition to the food, the Greek restaurant was also known for its giant fish tanks. The owner is working on finding homes for all the fish, and if you want the giant tanks, just ask.
