(WKTV) - The New Hartford Kiwanis club and AMBA are teaming up to offer blood screening on Saturday.
The 39th annual Blood Screening Wellness Program will take place from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Perry Junior High School Gymnasium on Weston Road in New Hartford.
AMBA will be providing a primary blood screening, which tests for coronary disease, diabetes, anemia, kidney disease, liver disease and more.
The cost of the screening is $41, with $36 going to AMBA and $5 to the Kiwanis club for service charges and refreshments. Cash and checks will be accepted, however, if paying by check, two checks must be issued -- one for AMBA and one for the Kiwanis.
Limited spots are available. Please call (800) 234-8888 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule an appointment. Callers will be asked to provide their physician's name and address at the time of the call.
