(WKTV) - A New Hartford man faces charges after he allegedly stole from a home he was doing repairs at, New Hartford Police say.

Lawrence M. Mazza, 32, of New Hartford, is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree.

According to officials, police received a report in early April about numerous items missing from a home. The victim said the items were discovered missing over a period of several weeks. During an investigation, it was determined Mazza had been hired by the victims to complete home repair jobs, and had access to the home.

He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of New Hartford Court at a later date.
