UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Sunday was moving in day for the newest class at Mohawk Valley Community College. The students arrive three days before returning students so they have the opportunity to settle in.

Classes start Wednesday, and second-year students arrive Tuesday.

As for these students, they'll have a rigorous three-day orientation and be provided with information on how to make a successful transition into college.

There are more than 300 incoming students at MVCC, and 200 returning students.
