Nola's in Clinton ceiling collapse due to frozen pipes

By WKTV News

CLINTON, N.Y. – (WKTV) The region's frigid temperatures wreaked havoc on some area businesses. The ceiling at Nola’s in Clinton caved in Thursday night.

One of the owners said eight pipes above the ceiling burst at some point overnight.

The collapse caused damage to the basement and the building’s heating system.

“It will probably take about five days to dry everything out,” said Leah Fay co-owner. “We have to redo the ceiling and replace the floor. Some of the furniture has to be replaced.”

She said that the restaurant is looking to reopen in three weeks.
