UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Dominique Cooke, the third man who police named just two days ago in the brutal 2011 murder of Anthony Garner appeared in Oneida County Court on Thursday.
The second suspect in the case, Octavius Garrett has already pleaded not-guilty in Garner's death and is currently pondering an offer from the Oneida County District Attorney's Office.
Cook pleaded not-guilty at his arraignment on Thursday morning in the deadly shooting, that was all captured on street surveillance video. Police have said that Garrett is clearly visible in the surveillance footage.
He is due back in court on August 23, at which time he may hear a plea offer from the Oneida County District Attorney's Office.
Marshall Jackson, the actual shooter, is already serving 25 years to life in state prison for his murder conviction earlier this year.
