Notre Dame baseball players hold fundraising breakfast

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Notre Dame Junior and Senior High School Baseball team hosted their first pancake breakfast fundraiser on Sunday.

Held in the high school's cafeteria, people enjoyed fresh pancakes, sausage, coffee and orange juice as they supported the baseball team on their upcoming season.

Varsity Baseball Coach Kevin Green says fundraising helps Garner the support of the team during the season.

Green said, "It builds a lot of camaraderie with our kids: them coming out to help out, and the parents, you know, we have a lot of parental support and from the administration at the school. So it's a great event and pretty exciting actually."

The Jugglers had a 8-7 record last year after going 5-9 in 2011.
