One in custody, investigation continues in Whitesboro home burglary

WHITESBORO, N.Y. (WKTV) - One person is in custody and an investigation continues into a home burglary in the Village of Whitesboro.

On Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at approximately 4:30 a.m., Whitesboro Police were dispatched to the area Pleasant Street for a report of two male subjects going in and out of vehicles on Pleasant Street.

Police quickly arrived and located a white male walking on foot. The individual was identified as Glen Fedor Jr, 26, of Whitesboro.

According to authorities, Fedor was in possession of several items, including a large amount of U.S. currency - all of which police said were stolen from vehicles and residences on several streets in the area.

Fedor was charged with criminal possession of stolen property and petit larceny at that time. Several more charges of petit larceny, criminal mischief, and burglary are also pending.

Fedor was arraigned in the Village of Whitesboro Court and committed to Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail/bond. He is set to return to court in Whitesboro on Tuesday, March 13, 2012.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
