One injured in Columbia Street stabbing

(WKTV) - A stabbing on Columbia Street has left one injured, Utica police said.

The call came in around 4:30 p.m. Thursday to 721 Columbia St., near Wylie Street. The victim suffered two stab wounds to the chest, Lt. Steve Hauck said. The wounds did not appear to be life-threatening.

Police were able to apprehend a suspect at the scene. Hauck said the public was not in danger. The victim was transported to the hospital.
