(WKTV) - Two City of Oneida residents face charges in connection with a drug arrest, Oneida City Police said.
Edward W. Relyea, 30, of the 300 block of Farrier Avenue in Oneida, is charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree, three counts of possession of a controlled substance in the third degree and one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
Chad M. Emmons, 25, of the 300 block of Farrier Avenue, is charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
According to authorities, on Friday police served an arrest warrant out of superior court that stemmed from a months-long investigation into the possession and sale of crack cocaine. Emmons allegedly tried to use his body to block the entry way into the home, and continued after he was warned.
Relyea was sent to Madison County Jail on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bail bond. Emmons will appear in Oneida City Court on May 29.
