Oneida County Health Department lowers cost of flu vaccine

(WKTV) - The Oneida County Health Department said Tuesday that the price of the flu vaccine administered at their clinics will drop in price.

The shot will be available for $10 through the remainder of the flu season, or until present supplies are exhausted. The department had charged those without acceptable insurance or Medicare Part B $25 of the vaccine since the beginning of the flu season in October.

Flu shots are given at the regular scheduled immunization clinics in Utica from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays at 406 Elizabeth St. and in Rome from 1-3 p.m. Tuesdays at 300 W. Dominick St.
