Oneida County Historical Society to host spring break activities

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - With spring break finally here for many local students, the Oneida County Historical Society is gearing up to host plenty of activities to keep your kids busy, this week.
Activities include board games, toy activity time and even a historic scrap booking activity.
There will also be a squirrel scavenger hunt with Seymour the stuffed squirrel, with prizes included for finding items.
"If you have any interest in military or Civil War we have an exhibit up and there are swords and guns in there, which are cool," said Jeana Ganskop of the Historical Society. "We have a 19th century exhibit up that sounds dry, but we have a model of a boat and a stereoscope, and we have a doll house that's detailed and something you have to see in person."
The Historical Society is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 11-3.

All activities are free to the public.
