Oneida County Tourism Bureau opens Union Station location

By WKTV News

(WKTV) - The Oneida County Tourism Bureau now has a new location at Union Station.

According to recent studies, more than 195,000 people walk through Union Station yearly, so the county decided to move its welcome center to the transportation hub.

The grand opening took place Friday morning and coincides with the 30-year celebration for Oneida County Tourism this month.

Kelly Blazosky, president of Oneida County Tourism, says helping a visitor in Union Station who has come in by train or bus with questions has allowed for an excellent partnership.

As a test, the tourism promotion agency put fliers in Union Station, and they flew off the shelf.
