Oneida County inmate arrested for contraband possession


ORISKANY, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica woman has been arrested for Promoting Prison Contraband in her cell at the Oneida County Correctional Facility on Wednesday.

Christiana Rosado, 21, was found to be in possession of a hypodermic needle during a random search of her cell.

She is being charged with promoting prison contraband in the first degree, a Class D felony.

Rosado is due to appear in the Village of New York Mills court at a later date.
