Oneida Herkimer Solid Waste Authority receives Sinnott Conservation Award

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The eleventh annual Sinnott Conservation Award was presented at a special breakfast Thursday morning at Hotel Utica.

This year's recipient is the Oneida Herkimer Solid Waste Authority.

The Conservation Award recognizes a group or individual that has made significant efforts toward the conservation of earth's wildlife and its resources.

Award presenters say it stands to reason that recycling goes hand in hand with their efforts.

The award was established in conjunction with the Utica Zoological Society.
